The Raging Grannies are a radical choir of progressive grandmothers based on Salt Spring Island, BC, in Saanich and Cowichan Territory. They are a part of an international coalition of Raging Grannies who use catchy, politically themed songs to fight for peace and environmental justice. There are choirs of Raging Grannies all over the world, including Canada, USA, The UK, Australia, and New Zealand.
Building a better world requires intergenerational sharing and collaboration. Within the wisdom and experience of elders is an opportunity for young activists to learn and discover the mechanisms of change and justice. How can we build a better world without learning from past mistakes and successes?
