Maybe things’ll end at the bottom of the sea Maybe things’ll end at the bottom of the sea At the bottom of the sea, the bottom of the sea Maybe things’ll start once again with a tree Then some time will go by, might look something like you and me It starts with a tree then it ends with you and me I know it's all too much I know it's all too much Maybe things are just exactly as they seem A boardroom full of business men, with more money than they’ll ever need But that’s the funny thing about life, things ain't always what they seem Like the blowing of the wind, the flowing of a stream It starts with a tree then it ends with you and me What about them, those to come, those who are taking, what we’ve begun I know it’s all too much

I will float with the clouds up to heaven I will blow with the wind through the trees I will sing with the birds like its nothing I will flow with the river to the sea I will hold on, I am not lost, I am not lost I will hold on, I am not lost, I am not lost I will fight for this coastline forever I would give up both my eyes to save the trees I will break both legs of all the liars Who can see the change a’ coming and don’t believe I will hold on, I am not lost, I am not lost I will hold on, I am not lost, I am not lost I will hold on, I am not lost, I am not lost I will hold on, I am not lost, I am not lost I will fight for this coastline forever I would give up both my eyes to save the trees I will break both legs of all the liars Who can see the change a’ coming and don’t believe I will hold on, I am not lost, I am not lost I will hold on, I am not lost, I am not lost

Welcome to the garden, treat it like your own, it’s all our homes Take a look at the ocean , where there’s an island composed Of all the crap we’ve thrown away always making sure to say That it don’t matter as long no body knows Take a look at the world now, tell me what you see Ain’t it time we come together, quit fucking with the weather Take things back to the way they outta be Welcome to the garden, treat it like your own, it’s all our homes It’s all the daffodils, daisies, buttercups and junipers Bumblebees, butterfleas, grizzley bears and douglas firs It’s all that I know, all that I see, all that I breathe And its damn worth fighting for if you know what I mean It’s all the daffodils, daisies, buttercups and junipers Bumblebees, butterfleas, grizzley bears and douglas firs It’s all that I know, all that I see, all that I breathe And its damn worth fighting for if you know what I mean So get your head up, hands up hold em up high You gotta say it like you mean it from the ground up to the sky This is all we have man, it’s all that we know But if nothing else changes then away it’ll go So get your head up, hands up hold em up high You gotta say it like you mean it from the ground up to the sky This is all we have man, it’s all that we know But if nothing else changes then away it’ll go Welcome to the garden, treat it like your own, it’s all our homes It’s all the daffodils, daisies, buttercups and junipers Bumblebees, butterfleas, grizzley bears and douglas firs It’s all that I know, all that I see, all that I breathe And its damn worth fighting for if you know what I mean

Let em love, let em live Let em say what they need to say Let em hold up their hands Let em say what they need to say You are young, you can live You can say what you need to say You can hold up your hands You can say what you need to say I am young I will live I will say what I need to say I will hold up my hands I will say what I need to say Cause I need the earth the grass the leaves the rocks the trees and everything in between I need the you, the he, the she, to come in as one, create the we I need to see that you believe in all that grows and lives and dies and breaths If the end is near and the sun does blow, jump off the earth into the unknown Still it’s the same wherever I go, killing each other cause they claim to know If the end is near and the sun does blow, jump off the earth into the unknown (woop)

Kangarooz 04:17
I’ve got love but it ain’t for a girl its for the land and the sea and the whole wide world and I’m going down, down, down I’ve got love but it ain’t for you Its for the bears and the bugs and the kangarooz And they’re going down, down, down Make sure that your love is in the rightest of places Cause the things that we’re doing, they’re melting the glaciers And they’re coming down, down, down The tides are a’turning there are changes at hand They’re too slow notice, to big to understand But they’re going down, down, down If we all come together, try our very best The sun can power the world, the wind can do the rest And then I’ll put it down, down, down So lift me up I’m going down

I’ve got eyes that can see, hands that can hold Arms that can heal, I do what I’m told And when the morning brings another glorious day I sit here and I just wait I’m staring down at the grass in my toes Sticks and the mud and the rain and the snow And the green and the blue are lessened to grey And there it goes, the though fades Can you see the mess we’ve made? Can you see what needs to change? Can you see the mess we’ve made? Can you see what needs to change? We’ve got hands on guns, hands on eachother Instead of taking one away we’ll just make another When the day does come that you see what you did Can you still say that it just is? When the truth does walk you down the street Only gives you what you have, only shows you what you’ve seen Doesn’t matter who you were its who you’re choosing to be Doesn’t matter what you said but that you’re choosing to see Can you see the mess we’ve made? Can you see what needs to change? Can you see the mess we’ve made? Can you see what needs to change? You’re missing it all

about

7 songs inspired by my time spent in Kitimat, BC in July of 2014. The LP acts as the soundtrack to a documentary I filmed pushing for the conservation of the Kitimat area and our coastline. The film is called "One Big Coast" and was premiered in January of 2015. I am taking my film and music on the road this spring and summer.
